Several tips to extend the life of the slicer

The specific method of using the slicer:

1. Adjustment: When adjusting, loosen and tighten the copper column nut first, and then turn the thickness direction on the nut and copper column to adjust. After the thickness is adjusted, the nut and copper column must be tightened. If the cutter head is parallel to the blade, do not turn it on. The cutter head must be lower than the blade before the machine can be cut. The maximum thickness of adjustment is about 3mm, and the thickness is stepless.

2. Replace the blade: insert the hex handle into the hole on the side of the machine. Turn the direction of the wheel to change the knife. When changing the knife, loosen the two hexagonal screws of the blade and insert the blade to replace it. The microtome is a machine that cuts thin and uniform tissue pieces. The tissue is supported by hard paraffin or other materials. The thickness gauge is automatically used to push the required distance forward (toward the direction of the knife) every time it is cut. The gradient of the thickness gauge is usually 1 micron. When cutting the paraffin-embedded tissue, because it adheres to the wax edge of the previous slice, a slice strip of multiple slices is made.

Note for slicer:

1. The knife basin is often rubbed with oil to avoid dirt. If there are food tails and small fragments, this indicates improper softening or the blade is not sharp, and it is necessary to replace or sharpen the knife. It is too thin to cut.

2. Slice sticky food, cut with water on the surface. Single-phase motor is used for matching, high-grade bearings are used, and four blades are arranged on the cutter head. The speed ratio is slow and the slicing effect is high. The slice thickness can be adjusted, and it is widely used in food processing plants.
